Randy is a Washington native, and he brings a wealth of business
ownership and management experience to The Quincy Group, both inside and outside the print industry.
He attended Western Washington University and then founded Printing Control in 1973 with his wife Barb. They grew it into a large regional printing facility with 100 employees

Mervin Manufacturing, a snowboard maker. At Mervin, he set up two manufacturing plants and a distribution system in 18 countries and the
U.S., and sold that business in 1995 to Quik Silver Clothing, Inc.
Randy was also a founding director and Vice Chairman of the National Bank of Tukwila, is a member of
Vistage, an association that provides CEO training and mentoring, and has consulted with Latah, Inc., a concern that deals with
manufacturing in the far east.
Randy was also a
founding member and first president of the Tukwila Chamber of Commerce, which has since become the Southwest King County Chamber of Commerce.
